This presentation can be used to teach a Disaster Preparedness class for child care providers. The presentation introduces child care providers to the 2016 California Child Care Disaster Plan. It demonstrates how to use the Disaster Plan materials to develop a custom emergency plan based on individual child care program needs and local resources.
California Child Care Disaster Plan supports child care providers to be ready for, respond to, and recover from an emergency. The resources in the Appendix assist child care providers to meet licensing regulations, Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) funding requirements, and best practice recommendations.
